En la península Ibérica, durante siglos, convivieron musulmanes, cristianos y judíos, uniendo e intercambiando sus manifestaciones artísticas. Para los judíos Yetzer representa la dualidad del ser humano y su inclinación a seguir el impulso del bien o del mal.

Inspirado en las tradiciones medievales españolas, y respondiendo a la necesidad de mantener viva la esencia de Al-Ándalus, para Irene Aranda, Yetzer es la llamada del instinto a la escucha de nuestra propia naturaleza. Yetzer brota entre el legado de las tres culturas y transporta su pureza hacia un nuevo territorio.

Sebka: decoración de red de rombos típica de la arquitectura islámica almohade. En el plano sonoro, Sebka se traduce en una red de ideas musicales, concebidas para entrelazarse y regenerarse en cada concierto.

In the Iberian Peninsula, Muslim, Christian and Jewish people lived together throughout the centuries, linking and exchanging their forms of artistic expression. For Jewish Yetzer represents the human being duality and their leaning to follow the impulse of good or evil.

Inspired by Spanish Medieval traditions and meeting the need to keep Al-Ándalus essence, for Irene Aranda, Yetzer is the instinct call listening to our own nature. Yetzer emerges from the legacy of the three cultures and carries its purity towards a new territory.

Sebka: Decoration of a net of rhombus which is typical in Almohad Islamic architecture. Dealing about the sound, Sebka means a net of musical ideas, conceived to interweave and regenerate in every concert.
